Cherry wood develops its characteristic reddish colour through the oiling process - this makes the distinctive grain even more pronounced. This grain is unique to each spoon and may therefore differ from the picture. The classic shape with an oval ladle and flat handle makes the wooden cooking spoon with branding functional and makes it easy to hold.
Care tip
Wood is a natural material and can crack under extreme conditions. For this reason, you should not leave the Petromax spoon in water for a long time, but clean it thoroughly with warm water and scouring powder. Then stand it upright and allow it to air dry.
To ensure that you can enjoy your Petromax wooden spoon for a long time, please note the following: If the oiling wears off through use and cleaning, you can rub the spoon with hot, flavourless vegetable oil or paraffin oil (paraffinum (per)liquidum). Leave it to soak in overnight and rub off any excess oil. You can repeat this treatment regularly.
