The Petzl Ascension rope clamp was designed for rope ascents. The ergonomically shaped handle made of two-component moulded rubber provides excellent grip and optimum safety even in wet or frosty conditions. The gripping surface is slightly wider in the lower section so that the little finger is more comfortable during the ascent. The ergonomically shaped index finger area makes it easier to operate the lever. The Petzl Ascension rope clamp has clamping cams with angled teeth that reduce the force required to push the rope clamp up the rope. The one-piece aluminium handle not only offers optimum alignment, but also reduces the weight. It also ensures many years of use. The two attachment points offer you different uses.
