The Katadyn Micropur Classic MC 1T purifies contaminated drinking water in an environmentally and health-friendly way with the help of silver ions and is primarily used for slightly to moderately contaminated water. According to the WHO, around 80% of travel-related illnesses are caused by contaminated drinking water.
