The Nordisk Alfheim 12.6 Basic Tipi Tent is a beautiful tent from the Nordisk Alfheim series made from a great cotton-blend fabric that provides a consistently pleasant climate in the warmer climes of our planet. The tent is shaped like a tipi and has an adjustable ventilation cap at the top. It is attached with a D-shaped drawbar. There is a mesh lining insert on the walls for optimum ventilation of the tent.
The Nordisk Alfheim 12.6 Basic Indian tent can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people if no inner cabin is installed. The optional inner cabin is hooked into the inside of the tent and offers additional privacy. The entrance is very generously designed and provides a shady spot even in summer without losing sight of the sunlight.
The story behind the name Alfheim (Álfheimr) means "home of the elves" and is one of the nine worlds and home of the light alves in Norse mythology. The Light Elves are brighter than the sun - the Black Elves, on the other hand, dwell in the earth and are blacker than pitch. Alfheim was both the name of the supernatural world of the elves and the name of a kingdom whose legendary kings were associated with the elves.
