The Salewa Wildfire 2 GTX approach shoe for men has a precise fit and a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® membrane. The grippy POMOCA outsole offers high climbing performance for fast approaches, technical scrambles and alpine climbs. It has a climbing zone in the toe area and offers high edge stability. The POMOCA Butilic rubber compound provides secure grip on dry and wet rock, while the aggressive lugs offer improved traction on muddy, soft ground. The upper has been crafted with a precise fit from robust mesh material and reinforced with a 3D Exa Shell structure for increased torsional rigidity. In combination with the 3F system, it encloses the foot for flexibility, a snug fit and a firm hold on the ankle and heel.
