Lots of space, low weight
The Telos TR2 trekking tent from Sea to Summit sets new standards when it comes to usable space. With the new Tension Ridge architecture, the two cross poles are curved upwards and not angled downwards as in other tents. This gives the tent more height and thus offers significantly more headroom, higher doors and larger vestibules for more storage space.The lightweight nylon materials used and the DAC Featherlite aluminium poles mean that the Telos TR2 weighs no more than 1.65 kg when fully packed.
Setting up the tent even easier and more versatile
The DAC Featherlite aluminium poles are fully connected so that they can be put together intuitively almost by themselves. The colour-coded pole ends are inserted into the ends provided on the tent. Sea to Summit has refined the Quick-Connect Pole Feets even further. Milled aluminium clips make it possible to attach the flysheet quickly and with one hand. The aluminium clips are also significantly more durable than plastic buckles.The Telos TR2 trekking tent can be pitched in different ways. In good weather, the inner tent can be used on its own. In the classic set-up of inner and outer tent, a vestibule is created at each of the two entrances, which can be used as storage space. However, the outer tent can also be pitched on its own. Another option is the hangout mode, in which the tent becomes a semi-open shelter with the help of trekking poles or the optionally available pole sets.
Ventilation and reusable pack sacks
An Apex ventilation system is fitted at the highest point of the Telos TR2 trekking tent. This ventilation allows warm, moist air to escape from the tent. If necessary, the Apex Vent can be closed from the inside with a zip. In combination with the Baseline Vents, this creates a chimney effect, allowing cool air to enter the tent from below and warm air to escape at the highest point of the tent.The Fair-Share Storage consists of three different pack sacks in which you can pack the tent. This allows you to share the weight. The pack sacks can be stowed together or individually. When the tent is pitched, you can attach two pack sacks as a bag for your equipment in the tent. The pole packsack converts into a light bar. Simply insert one or two headlamps and the transparent diffuser illuminates the tent from above.
